HUBLI: T V Mohandas Pai, chairman, Manipal Global Education, on Monday called upon entrepreneurs to have compassion and be sensitive towards people.
He was talking at an interactive session organized as part of the Development Dialogue-2014 by Deshpande Foundation.
To a query on qualities needed to be successful in entrepreneurship, Pai said an entrepreneur should help others to grow.

"Don't expect appreciation for your work; the happiness you get from work itself is a reward," he said.
Pai said around 55 per cent of people in the country defecate in open as they don't have toilets in their villages. There are people who don't get enough food. The need of the hour is to do social entrepreneurship which can help society, he said.
